Nerino J. Petro, Jr., Attorney
Attorney Nerino J. Petro, Jr. is a practicing attorney
and legal technologist in Loves Park, Illinois. He formed CenCom, a
division of
Centro, Inc. in 1994 to provide legal technology
consulting to lawyers in Northern Illinois. He recognized that small
law firms could leverage
modern legal technology to maximize their
capabilities.
A 1988 graduate of the Northern Illinois University
College of Law, Mr. Petro adopted PC technology early in his practice
to help meet his clients needs. Since 1988, Mr. Petro has worked with
technology service providers in the imaging, hardware
and software
computer fields. Mr. Petro is an Certified Independent Consultant

and an authorized reseller of TABS® time and billing software, and Practice

Mr. Petro is past chair of the Winnebago County Bar
Association (WCBA) Business Committee, having responsibility for legal
technology issues and training and is a member of the WCBA Standing
Committee for Legal Technology. Mr. Petro is a member of the Illinois
State Bar Association's Committee on Legal Technology and a regular
contributor to its newsletter.
Mr. Petro provides training and support to lawyers
and their staff on
legal software and provides consulting, installation and
customization
services for law offices in Northern
Illinois and
Southern Wisconsin.
